Below you will find contests suitable for Grade 5/6 students. Interested students from these grades are also welcome to participate in contests designed for higher grades.

The Team Up Challenge is an engaging and collaborative mathematics resource designed for students in Grades 6 to 8. This challenge consists of materials that educators can use in their classrooms, grouping four students to work collaboratively to solve challenging math problems. This resource aims to foster teamwork, problem-solving skills, and mathematical creativity among participants.
This resource is available in English and French.

The Mathematician Mosaic is a CEMC initiative dedicated to showcasing the invaluable contributions of mathematicians from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. Through a collection of student-made biographical posters, our project seeks to shine a necessary spotlight on unsung achievements and foster more inclusive perspectives in mathematics.

Math Circles is a weekly enrichment program for students in Grades 6 to 12, taking place in the Fall and Winter. Math Circles is available both in-person and online. Students explore mathematical topics beyond the standard curriculum through direct instruction and problem-solving activities.
