Information for educators
The CS and Society resources are created for educators and can be used as lesson plans. They all begin with an introduction to the topic and introduce new learning through a combination of videos, articles, discussions, and projects. Each resource ends with suggestions on how students can make the learning personal and links for further study are also always included. These resources are adaptable and can be used both in-person or for online teaching. The CEMC will release four resources each school year addressing one or more social, cultural, economic, environmental, or ethical issue.

Benefits of CS and Society
Technology impacts all areas of our lives and is becoming increasingly prevalent. These resources will help students gain knowledge and perspective on a variety of important issues and help students transition from being passive consumers of technology to active creators and decision makers.
