Designed by expert educators, the CEMC Courseware provides free online educational resources, including lessons, interactive activities, enrichment challenges, and practice opportunities. Covering topics from Grades 7 to12 mathematics and computer science, the Courseware is intended for anyone working on improving their mathematics and computer science skills.  No registration is required to access these resources.

Each course contains a set of modules, which can be thought of as chapters in a book. Within each module is a set of lessons or topics, which include concept checks, or quizzes, with immediate feedback.

Information about CEMC Courseware

The CEMC Courseware is online and free to use without registration. Below are different ways in which these resources can be used. 

  • Self-paced learning: Use Courseware to learn at your own pace and you can either progress through the entire course or focus only on certain topics. Each course has a lot of opportunities for you to practice the material you have learned.
  • Refresher materials: You can use these resources as a reminder of what was covered in previous courses.
  • Homework: Educators could assign some of the lessons as homework and spend more time in class practicing questions.
  • Lesson ideation: Educators can use Courseware to get ideas for how to present material to their students, or to help with differentiation within their classes utilizing the variety of content available. 
  • Refresher materials: Parents can use these resources to help them stay current with the material their children are learning at school."
  • At-home learning: Support your child's learning at home with lessons and extra practice problems. 

Frequently asked questions

Below you will find responses to some frequently asked questions about CEMC Courseware. 

The resources on this site are only resources. They should not be viewed as a Massive Open Online Course (a “MOOC”) or any type of online course. As such, there is no certificate or other form of credential awarded if you review all the modules and/or score well on all the quizzes. 

There is no feature that allows you to track your own personal progress, or for an educator to track how much work their students have completed. 

We do not provide additional instruction beyond the lessons and activities included. If you don't understand one of the concepts, we recommend reviewing the associated resources and/or contacting your educator or a friend.
