Summer conferences
The CEMC offers two conferences each August for mathematics and computer studies educators at the University of Waterloo campus. These conferences run concurrently with sessions focusing on curriculum, learning new skills, and brainstorming classroom activity ideas. Participants can attend any session from either of the two conferences, without pre-registering for individual sessions.
EFGH Marking
Held in April each year, the EFGH Marking event brings together educators from across Canada to mark the CEMC’s Euclid, and Fryer, Galois, and Hypatia Contests written by students worldwide. This event allows markers to interact with others in the math education community from across Canada and participate in valuable professional development sessions.
