Students learning math in Indonesia

This page is also available in the Bahasa version.

The Cayley and Fermat Contests are an opportunity for students to have fun and to develop their mathematical problem-solving abilities. These are an annual mathematics contests and held in February.

The READI project supported students in Indonesia who joined the Cayley and Fermat contest from 2018 to 2020 so that students could participate in this competition at no cost to them. The number of Cayley and Fermat participants in Indonesia has increased sharply year by year. In 2020, around 12,000 students from Indonesia participated in this contest. This was inseparable from the breakthrough made by CEMC and the READI Project by translating Cayley and Fermat's questions from English into Bahasa so that more Indonesian students could participate.

Students in Grade 10 or below wrote the Cayley Contest. Students in Grade 11 or below wrote the Fermat Contest. Students in Grade 12 wrote the Fermat Contest as unofficial contestants.

READI sponsored Cayley and Fermat contests in Bahasa have come to an end but all the CEMC contests are available to Indonesian Schools and Students in English. For schools that are still interested in those contests, you can see the latest contests schedule and register directly by following the procedures from CEMC at this link.
