In August, the CEMC will be hosting an online conference to provide an opportunity for teachers to connect and learn from each other. The CEMC normally hosts three conferences for teachers in August: a Math teachers' conference in Winnipeg, a Computer Studies teachers' conference and a Math teachers' conference in Waterloo. This will be a combination of all three normally scheduled conferences.
CEMC: Bringing Teachers Together Virtually will be running parallel sessions for grade 7 and 8 Math, grades 9-12 Math, and grades 9-12 Computer Science and/or Computer Technology.
The conference will be held virtually through the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing and the University of Waterloo during the week of August 17th.
A more detailed schedule will be available when registration opens.
