On August 16-18, 2022, the CEMC will host an online conference that provides an opportunity for teachers to connect and learn from each other. The CEMC normally hosts three conferences for teachers in August: a Math teachers' conference in Winnipeg, a Computer Studies teachers' conference and a Math teachers' conference in Waterloo. This virtual event is a combination of all three normally scheduled conferences.
CEMC: Bringing Teachers Together Virtually will include sessions for grades 7 and 8 Math, grades 9-12 Math, and grades 9-12 Computer Science and/or Computer Technology.
The conference will be held virtually through the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing and the University of Waterloo from August 16-18, 2022. Sessions will run each day from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. EDT. Recordings of presentations have been posted below.
The one hour long sessions will be recorded. The schedule will include sessions for grades 7 and 8 Math, grades 9-12 Math, and grades 9-12 Computer Science and/or Computer Technology. The majority of the sessions will be presented by grade 7-12 teachers.
The 2022 Bringing Teachers Together Virtually daily schedule is now available.
