Virtual Teachers Conference Materials

The CEMC: Bringing Teachers Together Virtually conference was held during the week of August 17th, 2020. At a time when educators are unable to come together in person, the CEMC planned an online conference for Mathematics and Computer Studies teachers to connect and share ideas.

The one hour long sessions were recorded. The schedule included sessions for grade 7 and 8 Math, grades 9-12 Math, and grades 9-12 Computer Science and/or Computer Technology. The majority of the sessions were presented by grade 7 - 12 teachers.

The sessions focused on:

  • Lessons learned and good ideas that have come from teaching online
  • Traditional curriculum, pedagogy and extensions

Clicking on the session title in the tables below will direct you to a video recording of the session.
